IT'S FLEXIN' SEASON

Disclaimer! All previous and current clients of The Jones Group Of Western New York are extremely important to me. But today, I'd like to tell a story about my really special client.

In June 2022, my firm was contacted by a working American who had noticed that their deposit accounts were completely empty, and their annual income of $35,000 had disappeared. Upon further investigation, the findings were evident and familiar to me, as I had encountered similar situations in the past. The client's income was relatively decent, especially for a single person without dependents, and their manageable debt structure allowed for significant savings growth.

Given the clear and unmistakable nature of the findings, we wasted no time in getting started and charting our course of action. Initially, our focus was on establishing daily objectives, but before long, we had progressed to setting weekly targets. From there, we gradually extended our planning horizon to encompass realistic monthly goals, which in turn served as stepping stones towards achieving more ambitious 2-3 year objectives. The secret to this evolution lay in our ability to meet and exceed our goals along the way, which enabled us to steadily expand our horizons and push ourselves towards greater success.

In under a year, my special client has managed to accumulate over $10,000 in liquid savings and is making steady progress towards reaching the maximum allowable retirement contributions for 2023. Additionally, they have taken responsible steps towards reducing their credit card balances, having paid off over $3,500 in principal payments, and have made arrangements to pay in full their 2022 income tax liability. With their newfound financial stability, this client has set their sights on purchasing a multi-family unit as their primary residence, with the added benefit of generating rental income and building equity.

The findings were simple, familiar, and most importantly, conquerable. Over-spending without purchase scrutiny, and neglecting strategic planning were very clear in the Discovery findings. Within weeks into our new journey, the fascination of real success and results became contagious. It's amazing when you find in your own practice, the guiding star to success.

Did I mention that I was proud? What has been my learning?

Results really do matter! All of the contracts with The Jones Group Of Western New York can be canceled at any time, without penalty. The successes mentioned have come with the guidance of my firm in spite of my special clients' monetary commitments to the firm. The monetary commitment is extremely insignificant to the value that has been experienced from our journey together.

In a role where leadership calls for making a direct impact on the lives of individuals and businesses, I vow to always remain the same.
